Project Description:
Timber framed house on a Ribraft concrete floor slab.

External claddings: Cedar roof shingles, painted finger jointed Radiata pine bevel back weather boards, a ‘torch-on’ membrane on plywood substrate, roof over the North verandah and self-cleaning glass for the East verandah roof. T, G & V pine soffit linings to North verandah.

Internal linings; T&G premium grade pine wall boards except for the bathrooms (fibre cement board), and ceiling linings except for the bedrooms, bathrooms & garage (gib board).

Door and window joinery; pine frames with solid pine internal doors, cedar external doors, window sashes and adjustable shutters. Solid timber cabinetry with T, G&V paneled doors.

‘Pre aged’ exposed Douglas Fir trusses to open plan lounge/dining/kitchen. The remainder of the roof has standard manufactured timber trusses with flat ceilings.

The whole house has Rustic American Oak overlay flooring except for the bedrooms (carpet), bathrooms (tiles), and garage (concrete).
